I swear by all that you can see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
