Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On a straight path, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
