The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
