We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
