۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
