The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
