Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 Their faces will be scorched by flames, and they will grin and scowl within it. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
