Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
