Al-Zalzalah
The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
