Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 to burn therein. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
