Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slaves [i.e., the angels, Allah's Messengers, 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), etc.] as Auliya' (lords, gods, protectors, etc.) besides Me? Verily, We have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism). 102 Say: Shall We inform you of the greatest losers in (their) deeds? 103 "Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds! 104 They are those who disbelieve in the signs of their Lord and in the meeting with Him; so of non-effect will be made their works, and We shall not allow them on the Day of Judgment any weight. 105 That is their recompense -- Gehenna for that they were unbelievers and took My signs and My messengers in mockery. 106 As for those who believe and do good works, the Gardens of Paradise shall be there to welcome them; 107 therein to dwell forever, desiring no removal out of them.' 108 Say:. 'If the sea were ink for the Words of my Lord, the sea would be spent before the Words of my Lord are spent, though We brought replenishment the like of it.' 109 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a man like you. It has been inspired to me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God i.e. Allah). So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord." 110
