The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say to them (O Muhammad SAW) "Travel in the land and see how has been the end of the criminals (those who denied Allah's Messengers and disobeyed Allah)." 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 [But,] verily, thou canst not make the dead hear: and [so, too,] thou canst not make the deaf [of heart] hear this call when they turn their backs [on thee] and go away, 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
