۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
