'O Messengers, eat of the good things and do righteousness; surely I know the things you do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Lo! those who go in awe for fear of their Lord. 57 and who believe in their Sustainer's messages, 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 who spend their property for the cause of God, and whose hearts are afraid of their return 60 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a record which clearly shows the truth and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 Until when We overtake those who lead easy lives among them with punishment, lo! they cry for succor. 64 'Groan not today; surely you shall not be helped from Us. 65 Surely My signs have been rehearsed unto you, and upon your heel ye were wont to draw back. 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or is it that they were unaware of their Messenger and were therefore repelled by him for he was a stranger to them? 69 Or say they: There is a madness in him? Nay, but he bringeth them the Truth; and most of them are haters of the Truth. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 Or dost thou ask of them (O Muhammad) any tribute? But the bounty of thy Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision. 72 But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way; 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77
