Al-Qalam 2 of 2
Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 Should We treat the true believers and the wrongdoers alike? 35 What aileth you? How foolishly ye judge! 36 Do you have a book from which you study 37 That indeed for you is whatever you choose? 38 Or have ye oaths from Us reaching to the Day of Resurrection, that you shall be that which ye judge? 39 Ask them: "Which of you is able to vouch for this?" 40 Or do they have associates? Then let them bring their associates, if they speak truly. 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Lowered will be their eyes, disgrace overwhelming them. They had indeed been called to bow in homage when they were free of blame. 43 So leave Me and him who rejects this announcement; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not: 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 (Muhammad), do you ask for your preaching any recompense which is too heavy a price for them to pay? 46 Or do they have any knowledge of the Unseen which they are now writing down? 47 So be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and be not as the Man of the Fish, when he called, choking inwardly. 48 Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 But it is not except a reminder to the worlds. 52

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
