The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
