Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 Till a limit known? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
