Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
