Surely, the cautious shall have Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin? 35 What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? 36 Or have you a Book through which you learn. 37 That you can surely have whatever you choose? 38 Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? 39 (Muhammad), ask which of them can guarantee that on the Day of Judgment. 40 Or have they, perchance, any sages to support their views? Well, then, if they are sincere in this their claim, let them produce those supporters of theirs 41 The Day that the shin shall be laid bare, and they shall be summoned to bow in adoration, but they shall not be able,- 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not. 44 A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. 45 Or is it that you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them, so they are burdened with the penalty? 46 Is with them the unseen, so that they write down? 47 So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 And his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 But the unbelievers would like to stare you out of balance when they hear the warning, and say: "Surely he is possessed;" 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
