The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
