۞ And We had certainly given Abraham his sound judgement before, and We were of him well-Knowing 51 when he said to his father and his people, 'What are these statues unto which you are cleaving?' 52 They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them." 53 He said, “Indeed you all – you and your forefathers – were in open error.” 54 They said: 'Is it the truth you have brought us, or are you one of those that play' 55 He said: Nay! your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who brought them into existence, and I am of those who bear witness to this: 56 And [I swear] by Allah, I will surely plan against your idols after you have turned and gone away." 57 Then he made them fragments, all except the big one of them, that haply unto it they may return. 58 "Who has done this to our deities? He must be a wrongdoer." 59 'We have heard a young man called Abraham mention them' they replied. 60 The others said: "Bring him, then, before the eyes of the people that they may see (what will be done to him)." 61 "Did you do this to our gods, O Abraham?" they enquired. 62 Said he, “Rather, their chief may have done it; so question them, if they can speak.” 63 So they turned towards their own selves and (inwardly) said, “Indeed you yourselves are unjust.” 64 Again they were inverted upon their heads; saying, “You know well that these do not speak.” 65 He said: 'Would you then worship that, instead of Allah, which can neither help nor harm you? 66 "Fie upon you, and upon the things that ye worship besides Allah! Have ye no sense?".. 67 They said: 'Burn him and help your gods, if you are going to do anything' 68 We (Allah) said: "O fire! Be you coolness and safety for Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 69 And they desired a war on him, but We made them the greatest losers. 70 And We rescued him and Lot (and brought them) to the land which We have blessed for (all) peoples. 71 And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous. 72 And We made them leaders who guide by Our command, and We sent them the divine revelation to do good deeds and to keep the prayer established and to give charity; and they used to worship Us. 73 And We gave Lut the kingdom and knowledge, and We rescued him from the township that committed vile deeds; indeed those evil people were disobedient. 74 and We admitted him into Our mercy; he was of the righteous. 75

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
