۞ But who does greater evil than he who lies against God and cries lies to the very truth, when it comes to him? Is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 32 And whosoever bringeth the truth, and whosoever giveth credence thereto - these! they are the God-fearing. 33 They shall have with their Lord what they please; that is the reward of the doers of good; 34 So that Allah may relieve them of their worst deeds, and reward them for the best deeds they had done. 35 Is God not enough for His servant? Yet they try to frighten you with other [deities] besides Him! For such as God lets go astray, there will be no guide; 36 And he whom Allah guideth, for him there can be no misleader. Is not Allah Mighty, Able to Requite (the wrong)? 37 If you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will surely reply, "God." Say, "Consider those you invoke besides Him: if God wished to harm me, could they undo that harm? Or if God wished to show me mercy, could they withhold that mercy?" Say, "God is sufficient for me. In Him let the faithful put their trust." 38 Say: 'My people, act according to your station; I am acting; and soon you will know 39 "To whom comes a disgracing torment, and on whom descends an everlasting torment." 40 We have Sent down this Book to you with the truth for all mankind. So, he who comes to guidance does so for himself, and he who goes astray does so for his own loss; on you does not lie their guardianship. 41
