The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
