The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the chargers panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
