T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 only as reminder for those who have fear (of disobeying God). 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 The Beneficent Allah is firm in power. 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 Allah – there is no worship except for Him; His only are the best names. 8 Has the story of Moses come to you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: "O Musa (Moses)! 11 Lo! I, even I, am thy Lord, So take off thy shoes, for lo! thou art in the holy valley of Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. 13 Surely I am Allah, there is no god but I, therefore serve Me and keep up prayer for My remembrance: 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 "Throw it down, O Moses," said (the Voice). 19 So Moosa put it down – thereupon it became a fast moving serpent. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign: 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed." 24
