1/2 Hizb 7

Believers, do not consume usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear Allah, in order that you shall prosper. 130 And have fear of the Fire which awaits those who deny the Truth. 131 And obey Allah and the Apostle, that you may be shown mercy. 132 ۞ And vie one with another for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who ward off (evil); 133 who spend in prosperity and in adversity, for those who curb their anger and those who forgive people. And Allah loves the charitable 134 and who, when they have committed a shameful deed or have [otherwise] sinned against themselves, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven - for who but God could forgive sins? - and do not knowingly persist in doing whatever [wrong] they may have done. 135 Those! their meed is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens whereunder rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers! 136 Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters. 137 This is a clear declaration for mankind, and a guidance and a warning for those who preserve themselves from evil. 138 Do not be discouraged or grieved. You alone will have true dignity if you only are true believers. 139 If a wound has befallen you a similar wound has already befallen the people who are opposed to you. We make such movements to men in turn so that Allah might mark out those who are the true men of faith and select from among you those who do really bear witness (to the Truth): for Allah does not love the wrong-doers, 140 And that Allah may prove those who believe, and may blight the disbelievers. 141 Did ye think that ye would enter Heaven without Allah testing those of you who fought hard (In His Cause) and remained steadfast? 142 And verily ye used to wish for death before ye met it (in the field). Now ye have seen it with your eyes! 143
