The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
