They ask you concerning the mountains: "Where will they go?" Say: "My Lord will scatter them like dust, 105 and leave them a desolate waste, 106 "Nothing crooked or curved wilt thou see in their place." 107 On that Day, they will follow the Summoner, who is not crooked, their voices hushed before the Merciful, and you shall hear nothing except a murmuring. 108 Upon that day the intercession will not profit, save for him to whom the All-merciful gives leave, and whose speech He approves. 109 He knows all that is ahead of them and all that is behind them, while the others do not know. 110 ۞ And faces shall be humbled unto the Living, the Eternal. He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing; 111 And whosoever worketh of the righteous works, and is a believer, he will not fear wrong or begrudging 112 AND THUS have We bestowed from on high this [divine writ] as a discourse in the Arabic tongue, and have given therein many facets to all manner of warnings, so that men might remain conscious of Us, or that it give rise to a new awareness in them 113 Exalted is Allah, the True King! And hasten thee not with the Qur'an before there is finished to thee the revelation thereof, and say thou: O my Lord! increase me in knowledge! 114 We had commanded Adam (certain matters). He forgot Our commandment and We did not find in him the determination to fulfil Our commandments. 115
