۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
