And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 [But,] verily, thou canst not make the dead hear: and [so, too,] thou canst not make the deaf [of heart] hear this call when they turn their backs [on thee] and go away, 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
