The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 and the scarers scaring 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say thou: and verily ye; shall then be despicable. 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
