Saad 5 of 5
(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Till the appointed day." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
