Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 Cast ye twain into Hell every person rebellious, contumacious. 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
