And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
