Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss. 34 What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty? 35 What aileth you? How foolishly ye judge! 36 Have you a Scripture that tells you 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or do you have Our solemn oaths, binding upon Us till the Day of Resurrection, that you shall have whatever you yourselves decide? 39 Ask them which of them, for that [claim], is responsible. 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 On the Day when the dreadful calamity will unfold, when people will be summoned to prostrate themselves, and yet they will not be able to prostrate. 42 Their eyes will be humbled, and humiliation shall spread over them for they were already ordered to prostrate themselves when they were undiminished. 43 Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not. 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 46 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Had his Lord's grace not been bestowed upon him, he would have been cast away in disgrace upon that desolate shore. 49 But his Lord exalted him, and included him among His righteous servants. 50 When the unbelievers hear this Exhortation, they look at you as though they would knock you off your feet with their (hostile) glances. They say: “Surely he is afflicted with madness”; 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
