The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
O YOU ENFOLDED in your mantle (of reform), 1 Arise and warn! 2 And your Lord do magnify, 3 purify your garments; 4 And pollution shun. 5 And give not a thing in order to have more (or consider not your deeds of Allah's obedience as a favour to Allah). 6 And for the sake of your Lord, patiently endure. 7 Finally, when the Trumpet is sounded, 8 That, at that time, shall be a difficult day, 9 and it will not be easy for the unbelievers. 10 Leave Me with the one I created alone 11 And to whom I granted extensive wealth 12 And children to be by his side! 13 And made (life) smooth for him. 14 and who still greedily desires that I should bestow upon him more. 15 Nay! Verily, he has been stubborn and opposing Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). 16 [and so] I shall constrain him to endure a painful uphill climb! 17 He reflected, and then determined 18 So let him be cursed! How he plotted! 19 Again, may he be cursed how he plotted; 20 Then he thought; 21 Then he frowned and scowled, 22 Then he turned away, and was haughty. 23 Then he said: "This is nothing but magic from that of old; 24 This is not but the word of a human being." 25 Anon shall I roast him into the Scorching Fire. 26 What will let you know what the Scorching is like! 27 It spares not, neither leaves alone 28 scorching the flesh; 29 Above it are nineteen guards. 30 And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind. 31

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
