In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
