Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 the living and the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
