Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
