The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
