The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
