Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the glorious morning light; 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
