The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
