The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
