The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
