The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
