Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
