Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 who show off, 6 and refuse charity. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
