Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
