The Moon (Al-Qamar)
55 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Comet (Al-Taareq) before S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
THE LAST HOUR draws near, and the moon is split asunder! 1 Whenever they see a miracle, they turn away from it and say, "This is just a powerful magic". 2 They denied (the Truth) and followed their own lusts. Yet everything will come to a decision 3 And there have come to them such tidings as contain a deterrent -- 4 far-reaching wisdom [was held out to them]: but [since] all warnings have been of no avail, 5 So (O Muhammad SAW) withdraw from them. The Day that the caller will call (them) to a terrible thing. 6 abasing their eyes, they shall come forth from the tombs as if they were scattered grasshoppers, 7 running with outstretched necks to the Caller. The unbelievers shall say, 'This is a hard day!' 8 ۞ Before these, the people of Nooh denied and they belied Our bondman and said, “He is a madman” and rebuffed him. 9 So he prayed to his Lord: "I am helpless, deliver me." 10 We therefore opened the gates of heaven, with water flowing furiously. 11 And We opened up the springs of the earth; and the waters met for a decreed end. 12 We carried him in a well built, watertight vessel made from planks (of wood) 13 Moving forward under Our eyes: a requital for him who had been rejected. 14 And We left it as a sign. Is there anyone who will be warned? 15 And how [severe] were My punishment and warning. 16 We have made it easy to learn lessons from the Quran. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 17 'Aad denied; and how [severe] were My punishment and warning. 18 On an unfortunate day We sent upon them a continuous violent wind 19 Tearing men away as if they were the trunks of palm-trees torn up. 20 Then, how (terrible) was My Torment and My Warnings? 21 We have made the Qur'an easy to derive lessons from. Is there, then, any who will take heed? 22

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
